“Stupid Liverpool! Why am i still in love with them?”

I put the line as a facebook status for a whole day yesterday. Me and probably many other Liverpool FC fans in the world were mad, sad, stressed, or whatsoever to see our beloved team being sent out at FA Cup this season. Moreover, the team which beat us up was currently number 21 in the English Football League table.

FA Cup was my only hope this season. After we perform very badly in the Premiership and be sent out from Europe Champions League, I hoped we would make it at FA Cup. At least we lost the cup from a much stronger team in Premiership.

Liverpool men seem like having a mentality crisis. They did not play like they want to win it so bad. The spirit of Istanbul 2005 or Cardiff 2006 was not there. Moreover, we sacrificed Gerrard and Torres for the disappointed match. Stupid indeed… However, i still and always be in love with Liverpool FC. The love keeps me believe that the reds men will raise and shine again someday. No matter how awful and stupid they are, Liverpool FC is still the best team in the world.

A Night Thinker

Once Descartes said, “I think, therefore I am.” I assume that as human being thinking is an essential element in life.

What if the thinking activity harms your life?

I am quite a thinker, i suppose. Too bad i’d like to pick wrong timing to think. It is regular that I’ve been laying on my bed from 11pm, yet fall asleep at 3am. Wow! My mind loves to fly around in the middle of the night for four hours.

There are many things to think and imagine. My thinking journey might start with reflection of the day, people (my family, friends, or someone special), happenings, and some issues. Above all, i think about things i have achieved and i want to achieve in this life. The most frequent questions are why followed by how. Why is this happening and how do i deal with it.

I know that this uncommon habit is not good for me, especially relating to the health issue. Staying up late for day. People might call it insomnia, but i choose not to believe in them. For me, it is about a realignment of my body’s biorhythm time. Therefore, i prefer not to take any medicine. However, i should overcome this problem soon unless i want to face further serious liver problem.

In order to bring the good luck, i try to think of several ways out. Praying, I ask God to make me sleepy (lol). Setting up my alarm earlier in the morning so that the biorhythm time will be back to normal, just like normal person. I also try to promote good mood there on my bed before i go to sleep. However, they somehow do not work so far.

There i am alone in the middle of the silence, the night thinker.

The Most Costly Point Ever

One more point. I just needed the ball to get into the basket one more time to win the game. After she did a little manoeuvre, my team mate gave me a very good pass not far from the basket. There was only a smaller defender in front of me, thus I decided to go for one-on-one. I flew forward trying to put the ball in.

It was on October 8th, 2009.

The next thing I remember I was grounded down the outdoor court with sands and ashes covering my arms and legs. Then I felt my right ankle was very tight. I thought I had another ankle sprain. I shouted loudly not because of the pain, but I was upset since I might be missing the National College Basketball League (LIBAMANAS) which would be started in two days. My fear was worsened as my mate shouted that my ankle is dislocated, not sprain. The training was dismissed as my team mates and coach took me to the hospital immediately. That was the most costly point ever in my life.

He’s Liverpool Number Nine

I have been a Liverpool FC fan for nine years. Back then, Liverpool had Robbie Fowler who wore the famous number nine shirt. Fowler has always been one of my favorite players of Liverpool. In fact, he made me fall in love with the team.

After Fowler left which then back to the club several years afterward, Liverpool number nine shirt lost its magic. Liverpool was lack of brilliant striker, even people did not believe that Liverpool does not have any problem in front row. In a nutshell, Liverpool strikers and forwards were not hungry enough to score more and more goals.

I am now glad that the shirt got its magic back! An amazing kid wears it and he really deserves it.

In 2007, Liverpool bought the 23 year-old Fernando Torres to be its number nine. Twenty four goals at English Premiere League and six goals at UEFA Champions League made the Spaniard able to grab the hearts of Liverpool Fans all over the world.

It has been two years now and he is still irreplaceable. He is a dreadful threat for opponents, especially when he makes his move in the penalty area. Once the ball comes, he controls for a sec, and strikes it beautifully into the net. For me, Fernando Torres is the world’s best striker at the moment and for a couple years ahead. Liverpool and Spain are lucky to have such player like him.

Aside from his magnificent skill in football, Fernando Torres has several other aspects which amaze me. He is Liverpool’s most good looking striker ever! (Yea sure I am a straight lady) I am not attracted to blond guys since they are not really my type. Fernando Torres is a different case for sure. Cute face and good shape, unfortunately he is married. (lol) Moreover, he plays guitar and loves The Beatles. Let say that my respect meter is increasing now. I always love sports and music. Perhaps he also loves movies as i do? Such a perfect man!

Undoubtedly I am not the only (female) Liverpool fan who admire his football performance and the additional aspects. Liverpool fans created a catchy song to support our beloved Liverpool Number Nine:

We got the boy from sunny Spain, give him the ball hell score again

Unfortunately, Liverpool does not accomplish so much at the moment. It makes him has to wait for titles and more team achievement. I hope that he will be patient and stay for a long time because i dream of him shining along with the glory of Liverpool FC.
